Hello my name is Adam Straney and thanks for considering me as your special event master of ceremonies – be it an outdoor destination like today or an industry conference, sporting night, a gala charity fundraiser or a new product launch.

I’ve hosted the Illawarra Business Awards and the Integral Energy Tourism Awards, The Shoalhaven Business Awards as well as Jazz on The Vines for 10,000 laid back fans in the Hunter Valley.

I’m proud to say live on the stunning South Coast of NSW but (with permission from my wife), Im happy to travel to your (secret) location.

My diverse background in broadcast media has given me the nickname of ‘Adam Anything’ which simply means that I’m versatile and a bit like a chameleon.

For me, that’s one of the beautiful things about being an MC – it’s the incredible variety of people I get to meet, introduce, recognise and celebrate their achievements.

I’m pretty relaxed on a stage. I can think on my feet and enjoy a laugh too, sometimes at my own expense, this will help relax your guests and soon they’ll be right where you need them.

I get the comment ALL the time – “we really felt like we knew the MC” and that’s a good thing; knowing your guests are that comfortable with me.

We’ll share some lighted hearted moments because nearly every event can benefit from some humour. I work a lot in the Birth Deaths and Marriages industry – and as you can imagine, an (appropriate) sense of humour on this subject matter is absolutely essential. And ya never wanna get ‘em mixed up !!

I will understand and adapt my style to suit your event – mainly because we will have organised this together – from the moment you say YES He’s our MC. This planning process will always be with you, so we All know where the event is headed.

I really look forward to meeting you and discussing your MC requirements.

Again, my name is Adam Straney – The Master of Ceremony; proudly represented by the MC Directory.

Please check my availability calendar online before it’s too late. Bye for now, but we’ll talk soon.
